This is a portrait style pin in the shape of an oval.  It has a dark green rim with light blue background.  Ariel is in the center.  Her picture is from the shoulder up and her right hand is under her chin and her left hand is by her hair.  She has a shell ornament in her hand.   At the bottom of the oval frame is a small shell.  There is a small silver hidden Mickey on the lower right side  near the bottom of the green rim.
The back of the pin is stamped with "Cast Lanyard Series." In addition it has the Official Disney Pin Trading logo and the Disney copyright, "©Disney - Made in China."
