Lamar Bone is a character in Disney's Doug series. Though he is officially second in command to the real principal of Doug's school, he fits the stereotype of the "mean principal." He is among Doug's adversaries. Generally speaking, Mr. Bone takes his work very seriously and is stiff. He frequently makes threats to record even the smallest errors forever. Additionally, he was so rigid and serious about his work and the standards he enforced that he felt obligated to adhere to them himself. He likes to yodel and clog dance, which have brought him numerous honours and prizes, some of which he retained at Bluffington Elementary.
