Miss Atlantis is a minor character in Disney's Dumbo. She is the circus's official mermaid, and she spends much of the day in a tank. She is presented as one of the circus artists who is advertised as the world's sole living mermaid, and she and the other artists assist in the construction of the tent. They subsequently look on in astonishment as Dumbo is born. She is one of the crazy show artists who appears throughout the movie. Later, after the circus tent falls as a result of Mrs. Jumbo's rampage across it, she sings "Baby Mine" over a campfire as the other performers express their grief.
As a result of Dumbo's popularity, Miss Atlantis and the other artists visit Dreamland, an amusement park in Arkansas. Miss Atlantis plays a crucial role in the circus troupe's arrival at Nightmare Island by going into the water claiming to be a mermaid seeking freedom, outwitting the guards who try to stop her while the other artists barge in and take the transport vehicle with Mrs. Jumbo just before the park owner tries to stop the circus troupe. Miss She remains the circus performer when the circus reopens as the Medici Family Circus, much as Max Medici depicts her as the Shakespearean-reciting mermaid with Puck.
