Patrick O'Connell  is a character featured in the Princess Diaries 2 movie. He was portrayed by Sean O'Bryan. He is Mia's English teacher, later her step-father. He ends up eyeing a relationship with her mother.  He attended Mia's betrothed ceremony with Helen, Mia's mother, and their newborn son, Trevor. They initially came for her wedding.
