Sassy is a Himalayan cat kept by Hope, a little girl with whom Sassy shares a special affinity. She has a sardonic personality, and she lives true to her name. Shadow, a smart, aged golden retriever, and Chance, a young, immature American bulldog, are her pet companions. She's been sharing a home with the two dogs for quite some time now. With both of them, she even has a sibling bond. She gets along well with Shadow and rarely has disagreements with him. When it comes to Chance, however, the two would frequently battle and argue about their breed and species distinctions, as well as who is the best, with Sassy constantly belittling Chance with the motto "cats rule and dogs drool."
